Not Chess

Not Chess is a 3D Variant of Chess with the inclusion of multiple boards that i worked on for my senior project for my computer science degree.

The game has 10 new pieces and 2 new board types included, along with a quest system that introduces these new features throughout play.

To Play:

Unzip the Not Chess zip file and navigate through to and run [OpenTKUse/bin/Debug/OpenTKUse.exe]

Keyboard and Mouse is used to play. Mouse to move pieces and camera, Keyboard to do hotkeys for camera control.

There is a rules pdf that was hastily thrown together just before my deadline also in the directory.

The project has some performance issues, and some of the pieces and quests need to be re-balanced to work better in the game. More playtesting is required, overall.

If there is any interest in the game please do let me know! I wouldn't mind working on this again in my spare time, it needs some re-coding to make it run smoother, and some of the balance tweaks are already in mind. New Piece and Board ideas would be great to hear, too!
